ICSS 2016 Scientific Program

Welcome to ICSS 2016!

The International Conference on Small Science (ICSS 2016) will take place from June 25 to 29, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. To continue its success of last events at Phuket, Thailand(2015), Hong Kong(2014), Las Vegas, USA(2013), Orlando, USA(2012), and Sydney (2011), the conference will bring together the international research communities from various scientific disciplines, including materials science, physics, chemistry and biology, to discuss new and exciting advances that involve microscale and nanoscale materials, techniques and methodologies. ICSS 2016 will be a few days of intense collaboration, exciting small science, and great social occasions.

Prague is situated on the north-west of the country on the Vltava River. The city has a temperate climate, with warm summers and chilly winters! Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Prague is the fifth most visited European city after London, Paris, Istanbul and Rome. We encourage you to give yourself some time for recreational pursuits!

We look forward to having the pleasure welcoming you to the 2016 International Conference on Small Science!
